Mrs. Akin attended Elizabethtown Community College for 2 years to complete her general education classes. She received her Associates degree in Science from there. Mrs. Akin then attended Lindsey Wilson College for 3 years where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She is certified to teach Art P-12 which means she can teach any grade level. Mrs. Akin has two children, a boy and a girl. She has been in the school system for 8 years, working as a substitute while attending college to earn her teaching degree. Mrs. Akin also worked in the office with Mrs. Dean (2001-2002) full time for one year before returning to college. |
