- Senior Year, made East-West All-Star Game played in Lexington with the best seniors in the state of Kentucky.

Family

Family- Married in July 2005 in Sanabel Island on the beach to wife Amy (Originally From Russell County) & a teacher in the taylor county school system. they have a little girl named Mia Elizabeth Blaydes born on November 22, 2006.

Coach Blaydes has an older brother named Greg; he works for Shadwell Farms in Midway, KY.

He also has a younger sister named Allyson Davis who is a teacher in Metcalfe County.

Hobbies

Hobbies Include: Golf, Basketball, & Landscaping.

Class Rules

CLASSROOM CONDUCT
2007-2008 SCHOOL YEAR

1. Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to begin class when
the tardy bell rings.
2. Students should always bring a pencil, paper, and book(s) to class.
3. Students do not go the locker or restroom after the tardy bell rings.
4. During teacher's explanation and/or lecture, 1) no one else talks except to
ask/answer a question, and 2) no one gets up out of their seat.
5. If a student wishes to ask/answer a question, 1) raise your hand, 2) wait to
be called on.
6. If a student must leave the room for any reason, he should do so as
quietly and unobtrusively as possible. His re-entry to the room should be
likewise.
Students get only 2 chances to leave the room during a 9-week period.
7. Students will remain in their seats until the bell rings to dismiss class.
8. Students are expected to be respectful to the teacher and to other
students in speech, vocabulary, tone of voice, and actions at all times.
9. Classwork/Homework- We will work in class each day. Sometimes at
the end of class some students will not be finished. The assignment is
homework and is due when the tardy bell rings the next day. There will
be no time given to finish the homework the next day!!! Homework
grades are usually taken at least once a week. Students are required to
keep a notebook which will turned in on test days.
10. Tests- Tests are usually given every two weeks. Students will be given
advance notice of tests so that if a student is absent the day before the
test, he/she is expected to take the test as scheduled.
11. Any cell phone that rings during class will be confiscated and
turned into the office.
